How to install mininet on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS?

Install mininet on Ubuntu: sudo apt-get install mininet

First of all update your system with the command:

sudo apt-get update

How to uninstall/remove mininet from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS?

To remove the mininet following command is used:

sudo apt-get remove  mininet

Following command should be used with care as it deletes all the configuration files and data:
