How to install xsane on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS?

Install xsane on Ubuntu: sudo apt-get install xsane

First of all update your system with the command:

sudo apt-get update

Installing xsane:

After system update use the following command to install xsane:

sudo apt-get install xsane

How to uninstall/remove xsane from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS?

To remove the xsane following command is used:

sudo apt-get remove  xsane

Following command should be used with care as it deletes all the configuration files and data:
